Ideation 50:50
About The Program
The Ideation program is a cooperation between 50:50 Startups and Azrieli College of Engineering Jerusalem (AtoBe Startup Accelerator), supported by the Israeli Innovation Authority.
The program offers:

An immersive experience that celebrates cultural diversity while tapping into the vibrant hi-tech ecosystem.

Mentorship, interactive workshops, and access to university courses to equip participants with essential skills.

Expert guidance in developing ventures, coupled with funding opportunities and ongoing support for successful startups.

An exclusive opportunity to participate in a highly subsidized two-week startup boot camp in Cyprus.

Multistage Selection Process
Selected applicants will be invited to 15-20 min interviews.
Team Building
Opening Seminar - during this intensive 72 hours, the individual participants will meet, share their ideas, and explore shared areas of interest. Through a series of leadership, ideation, and team building workshops we aim that the participants will gather into diverse teams.

Each team will receive a mentor that will help develop their venture ideas.

Incubation Program
Dedicated to providing 50:50’s diverse teams with business, technology, soft skills knowledge, and training. It will be going on for 10 consecutive weeks
Preparation for Northeastern University
The best teams will be selected to attend a summer entrepreneurship program at Northeastern University in Boston, with expenses paid by the generous contribution of 50:50 Startups’ supporters. Valid passport/travel documents are needed.

Northeastern University
Fully funded 3 weeks between. The best teams will have the chance to participate in an in-person summer semester at the Business School of Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Demo Day
The joint Israeli-Palestinian teams showcase their startups on a Demo Day. They might get an initial grant, win a prize, or get an opportunity to enter a more advanced accelerator.
VENTURE DEVELOPMENT
When the teams return to Israel/the West Bank/Jerusalem they continue to develop their startups with the support of acceleration program at our selected partners, including Microsoft for Startups; Google for Startups; AtoBe; Takwin; and Joy Ventures alongside the continuous close support of our 50:50 Startups' mentors.

In addition, there are opportunities for teams meeting specific milestones to be provided with pre-seed investments or a spot at a more advanced accelerator, become an "Applebaum Fellow", or get their own Venture Development Officer.
