50:50 Startups Demo Day Event

On August 19th, 50:50 Startups celebrated the 2021 Demo Day for the 2nd cohort at Azrieli College of Engineering Jerusalem עזריאלי מכללה אקדמית להנדסה ירושלים.  6. great ventures presented their pitches in addition to one venture from the 2020 program—showing its progress over the last year—Yalla Reyada - يلا رياضة .

We were thrilled with the two winning teams, both with Israeli and Palestinian co-founders. Quantum Platform (fin-tech) won the first prize as a pre-seed investment of $10,000 and Food Chain (food-tech) won the second prize as a pre-seed investment of $5000. 

The winning teams are given the opportunity to enter the AtoBe Startup Accelerator program, a more advanced program in Jerusalem, or the DANA Accelerator, a more advanced regional program that promotes entrepreneurship for women. Furthermore they will be closely reviewed by the Takwin VC.
